Just a little pink around the edges
a little raw
a little tender
a little sore
working towards a change
the beginning of new skin
Apply this to my spirit

and you can see the state I'm in
a little cautious
a little awkward
a little scared
morphing into someone else
the beginning of 'growing up'
Or maybe this is the middle
